Raquel combines over 25 years of experience in law, translation and interpreting with an in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese and US legal systems.
Throughout her career, she has worked on the translation of major international projects and provided interpreting services in particularly demanding settings, including at the Portuguese Parliament and the London Court of International Arbitration, as well as in court and arbitration proceedings and at conferences.
Her experience spans areas including Litigation, Energy, Maritime Law, Infrastructure and Projects, Renewable Energy, Aerospace and Telecommunications. Her combination of legal training and extensive experience in translation and interpreting enables her to work on matters involving a high degree of technical and legal complexity, in both domestic and international contexts. She also has extensive experience as a trainer.
Education and Professional Memberships
Raquel holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and an LL.M. in Transnational Business Practice from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, Sacramento. She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
